An important difference in starting material
SpicyBox’s current Terms leave no ambiguity about its upload rule: the user must be the person depicted in every submitted image, and the only person in it. A licensed stock image or somebody else’s portrait is not made eligible by a payment or a casual agreement. If that rule does not fit your project, do not upload.
Musebox’s public video page describes an image-or-text starting point. Its entry rule says not to use other people’s photos without permission. That is a different published threshold, but it is not a blanket licence to copy faces or make harmful synthetic media. Check the full live policy, the rights attached to any image and local law before submitting identifiable material. A text-first fictional scene avoids some real-face exposure.
One output versus an evolving scene
SpicyBox can be efficient when a chosen template matches the framing of an eligible self-photo. Fewer controls may mean fewer decisions before the first clip. It also means the preset largely defines the motion; a user seeking a custom sequence may reach the edge of the tool quickly.
Musebox currently markets image-to-video alongside text-to-video and further steps such as clip extension, sound and character consistency. Those tools can be useful when a scene needs continuity or a longer narrative. They also create more places where credits, time, output rights and technical limitations need checking. A fair, non-sensitive comparison
For a self-image project that meets both services’ current rules, choose a non-sensitive frame and one simple motion objective. Count all attempts, not just the retained result. Inspect facial stability, background motion, resolution, export options and whether the clip is usable without further edits. If you would not be comfortable with the source being stored online, do not upload it merely to complete a comparison.
For a fictional-character project, test Musebox’s text-first route separately.
